Joe Spano- Mercyhurst University Head Coach
Zak Blair is one of the all time great players is our programs history. I can’t think of a better person to teach the game of baseball. Not only was he a great player, but he was a great leader and worker. What will make Zak such a great coach and teacher is that he worked for everything, nothing was ever given to him and he never let anyone tell him he couldn’t accomplish something. I am very excited for all of the young baseball players who will learn both baseball and life lessons from Zak Blair!
Bryan Soloman- Owner of Solo Sports Baseball Academy
While playing with Zak for a brief stint in pro ball, I learned a lot from his mature approach he took to the game.. Seeing how hard he played was a true blessing. I recommend any and all players go work with Zak and B2 baseball! You will learn a lot.
Ron Suchy- Father of 16U Player
Coach Zak Blair has been working with my son, who is currently 14, since December 2014. Coach Blair has established a great relationship with my son and has made a tremendous difference for my son as a baseball player and all around athlete. Coach Blair puts the physical and mental well-being of the student first, teaching sound fundamentals, and healthy mechanics. He utilizes effective drill work combined with realistic examples and focused, personalized instruction, understanding that there is not such thing as a “one-size-fits-all” solution for an athlete. One of the strongest aspects of Coach Blair’s instruction is on the mental aspects of being a successful athlete. Coach Blair’s experience as a player and great teaching abilities as a coach, provide insight for my son, that few other coaches can. Under Coach Blair’s instruction my son has raised his batting average over 150 points.
I personally have been coaching high school varsity sports for over 25 years, and can attest as a professional, that Coach Blair demonstrates great character and is an excellent baseball instructor and coach. I couldn’t imagine having my son work with anyone else!
Rich Gamber- Father of 14U Player
My son Dylan has now been Taking lessons from Coach Zak for about 8 months and his progress has been nothing short of amazing. He is hitting the ball with power and confidence. He is a catcher and through his hard work with both Coach Zak and Coach Dave, Dylan is becoming one of the best young catchers I have seen … he even played up 2 levels this fall and held his own with kids 2 to 3 years older than him.
If you are looking to take your players skill to the next level in a professional but fun environment with coaches who have been there and stress academics and personal growth as well as athletics look no further! I would highly recommend Coach Zak, Coach Dave, and B2 Baseball to anyone. They have made a world of difference in my son both on and off the field!
Adam Majczyk- Father of 9 Yr Old Catcher
My 9 year old son recently attended a catching clinic with Coach Zak and Coach Dave. With this being my sons first time with real one-on-one training, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I walked away from the clinic blown away!!! They were very knowledgeable, encouraging, and passionate about teaching the game to my son and the other children there. We are both looking forward to attending more of your clinics in the future.
